PDS, or Patient Document System is a medical records program. We have been using this program for over 10 years, and prior to this current version there were several renditions. The project had patients first registered in October, 1992.
The program has a variety of sophisticated features, including two different methods for entering progress notes, guided completion for medications and problems, and graphing capabilities. A plug in feature is also included for extensions, particularly for integrating with lab or hospital systems.
