Our Simpli series of applications take the philosophy of "do one thing and do it well". Whether it is calculating osmolality, Aa gradient and ratio, Body Mass Index, or Glasgow Coma Scale, the Simpli applications are designed for fast ease of use.

Applications for iPhone and iTouch are available only through the Apple AppStore, but here are some images of our applications.
SimpliBMI calculates
Body Mass Index using the standard formula (weight in kg divided by square of
height in meters. Dislays the BMI as well as target weights for BMIs of 25,
27, and 30.
SimpliAa calculates
the Aa gradient and ratio
Simpli Osmolality
calculates osmolality from sodium, potassium, glucose and BUN. Info button displays
the formula in this, like the other Simpli applications.
Simpli Glasgow
displays a series of screens to calculate the Glasgow Coma Scale
Simpli Bayes uses
pretest probability, sensitivity and specificity to calculate the post test
probability should a test be positive or negative, using Bayes Theorem.

SimpliCHADS calculates a CHADS score for the risk of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation.

SimpliBMR calculates the basal metabolic rate for a person of a given height, weight, age, and sex.

SimpliFENa calculates the fractional excretion of sodium (FENa) given values of serum and urine sodium and creatinine.

SimpliAPGAR calculates an APGAR score for a newborn.
CardioRisk uses
the Diamond Forrester and CASS data tables to estimate pretest probability of
coronary artery disease, then displays post test probability based on typical
sensitivity and specificity of non-invasive cardiac tests.
